GPX
Bring over onX waypoints, stands, blinds, hunting sign, recorded tracks, lines and areas. For waypoints, HuntAnalytics searches anywhere in Notes for a timestamp such as 10/12/25, 9:16 AM and uses it as the Created date/time; other note text can remain before or after it. If no valid timestamp is found, the import date/time is used. Original onX IDs are preserved for safe re-imports.

Create a standard GPX containing your stands, waypoints and recorded/access tracks. Stand optimal winds and notes are placed in the GPX description. Hunt Scores, weather, AI output and recovery-session points are excluded.

Data Backup / Start Fresh

Export a private copy of your hunting data, or restore a HuntAnalytics backup into the signed-in account. Restore uses a safe merge: matching record IDs are restored from the backup, while current records that are not in the backup are left untouched.
Restore never bulk-deletes your cloud data. Existing records with the same ID are replaced by the backup copy, which prevents duplicate records when you restore the same file more than once.
Start Fresh / Clear Test Data
2-step confirmation
Use this after testing to clear test records from the signed-in account. Map & Scouting removes stands, waypoints, recovery points, recorded/imported trails, and imported lines/areas. Everything also removes encounters/journal entries and hunt history. Offline Field Packs are kept.
Recommended: tap Export My Data Backup first. Reset requires an internet connection and deletes the selected records from Firebase plus matching pending local test records on this device.

About the Rut Model & Key Windows
Early Rut Sign (about Oct 14 - Oct 30): Rubs, scrapes and social changes increase.
Seeking / Cruising (about Oct 31 - Nov 10): Searching behavior can increase before peak breeding.
Core Breeding (about Nov 11 - Nov 22): New York breeding activity generally peaks around mid-November; individual buck movement varies.
Post / Secondary Trickle (late Nov - Dec): Later breeding can occur but is less predictable.
Model is generalized for New York, where DEC describes peak rut activity as mid-November. Individual deer and local conditions vary.
